New England Jazz Productions presents Jazz In The Yard as part of the 2014 Newton Jazz & Wine Festival.

An afternoon of some of New England's finest jazz.  Bring your lawn chairs and picnic blankets and settle in for some fantastic music!

Directions and Parking can be found here

The Lineup includes:

The Lance Martin Band - will dispel any preconceived notions of how you think a Jazz flautist should sound. This is Nu Jazz Funk, we call it "Physical Jazz."

~ B3 Kings - featuring organist/pianist Rusty Scott, this group has been grooving the neighborhoods with packed houses wherever they go. It's blues, it's funk, it's Jazz!

KenYaDig - proof that Jazz isn't just for old people sitting by a record player. These high school aged musicians are back for their second year.

~ The Joe McMahon Trio - Bassist Joe McMahon can be found, literally, at the bottom of a lot of the great music recorded and performed in the Boston area - rock, country, jazz, it's Joe! The Joe McMahon Trio's eponymous CD has been a NJ&WF favorite since they first performed at the festival in 2011. This is REAL Jazz!

NJ&WF ALLSTARS - Latin Jazz featuring guitarist Leo Colon, saxman Aaron Gratzmiller, percussionist Santiago Hernandez, pianist Brian Eggleston, NJ&WF Creative Director Stephen Bourassa on drums and guests... Guaranteed to get everyone up and moving... A Party to Close The Day!

Don't Miss It! Rain Date Sunday Sept 21st 1-5pm.
